I am a LSU Alum. living in DFW area. I will be taking my son-in-law to the LSU vs. Vanderbilt game. This will be his first LSU experience. He is from the Los Angeles area and is a USC fan, but has only been to one USC game in his life. He has never been exposed to any type of game day experience.
Anyone willing to show him a LSU tailgate experience? It will be three of us in the group. We will contribute liquor and/or food to your tailgate for your hospitality. Geaux Tigers and Forever LSU!

Following. I too am an LSU grad (twice) who no longer lives in BR and will be bringing a newbie to the Vandy game.

Email me at timc8804@gmail.com. I will discuss more with you. Would love for y'all to join us at our tailgate. We tailgate very close to the stadium on top of the hill.

Young dumbass who is a legend in his own mind. To his credit, he doesn't let other posters distract him with realism...

If doing a restaurant, Chimes is a classic with HUGE beer menu. Walk across the street for Tiger gear, maybe stop and get a pitcher (City Slice, but also a few bars).

Meander down to the tailgates, and be friendly. Tell people you're visiting and it's your first game. Carry a sixer like so you don't look like a mooch, but people will offer you food and drinks.

Finally, catch the team and the band coming down Victory Hill, and be sure to see Mike the Tiger before you go into the stadium.

Enjoy!

The Chimes is a decent place to go if you don't have a tailgate. Maybe Walkons too.

Grab some roadies and walk around campus...
