You act like we have a starting QB that we should be confident in. What football team have you been watching the last two years?

Yes, because a transfer can come in 2 mths before the season and take over the starting job. y'all are so fricking stupid sometimes

some of USC's players are better than some of LSU's.

Practicing all summer is plenty for a junior or senior who is talented enough. You see some college kids graduate and then make 1st team with an NFL team. They only have the summer, too.

The key word is talent. Units practice together all summer.
Its plenty.

Let's see if LSU is able to snag one or two before you presume that they cant make the starting team. Let's see who they are, and what position they play.
A premier LB would be nice.

Yeah our veteran QBs that have been here for 2 and 3 full seasons are still having problems learning the playbook.

I suspect the playbook is located up Crowton's rectum. I mean, that's where he seems to pull the plays out of.

Would these transfers be given scholarships that count against our 85 limit?

Yes I would imagine so. Either that or slip them some sort of payment in the method that they are accustomed to... under the table

bullshite. LSU fans have called USC and Pac 10 players in general soft for the last decade.

My problem with USC has been the media bias in their favor. They got rankings and accolades just because they were USC, much like Notre Dame did until they finally lost enough to lose their luster to everyone but Lou Holtz. Have they had great teams and great players during Carroll's run? Yes, of course. But the teams were not nearly as good as the media made them out to be, IMO.

On a side note, the LA media—newspapers, TV and radio—have pounced on USC like a pack of vultures on a rotting carcass. The media attacks against the Trojans—particularly Carroll and Mike Garrett—have been savage. Apparently, these two behaved with aggressive disdain for the media when they were on the mountain top, and now the local media is picking on their bones with delight. Me personally, I'm not exactly reaching for a handkerchief over this turn of events. Go Bruins.

A quality QB could come in and win the job. However, is Mustain in that description. I always thought he was good at Arky but got sideways w/ nutt
