USCe game is canceled..not being made up

Means they go .500 for the weekend.
Makes things different, a canceled game would be just as bad as a loss for them, concerning Kentucky..wouldn't it?

I don't think our game matters now. Win or lose, we have to win 2 of 3 from Scar to finish ahead of them. Only matters with regards to Kentucky

as far as rankings in the SEC go it won't matter to much
we are either 17-10
or 18-9
USCe will be 17-9
if we win the series against USCe after losing today they are 18-11 and we are 19-11 we are ahead of them
if we lose the series after winning today we are 19-11, and they are 19-10
if we win the series and win today they are 18-11, and we are 20-10
we we loose the series and loose today they are 19-10 and we are 18-12
so as you can see if it comes down to us an USCe we have to win the series.

It matters. Maybe not as big a deal as far as winning the SEC, but I could care less about that. A national seed is what's needed.

If we would lose today, USCe wins, and we take 2/3 next week while UK takes 2/3, we would be in a 3 way tie
LSU 20-10
USC 20-10
UK 20-10
Now of we win 2/3 next week and Kentucky wins 2/3 or better they take the series
LSU 20-10
USCe 19-11
UK 20-10
LSU 20-10
USC 20-10
UK 20-10

if kentucky is tied for the top record in the SEC they win it. SC with 29 games can't be tied with anyone.
