Both of these teams are 100% the respective coaches' players (no more Saban's players crap)

To me it seemed that even with Demps hurt, that LSU has the better team than UF.

That says a lot about Miles because both coaches has had 6 years, both are fighting for the same recruits, both are developing their own players etc.

The 2010 LSU/UF game was a very good gauge of the two coaches. Meyer got outcoached (never thought I'd type that) by Miles. LSU has better talent (IMO) Without 2 special teams snafu's the game is a blowout. Wins don't come easy in Gainsville, regardless of injuries, etc. UF just came off a demoralizing loss at Bama (that was closer than the score looked) and had something to prove on their homefield.

And to think Miles has been on the "hot seat" all the way through his 6-0 start.

Meyer didnt have to follow UFs legend (Spurrier)

Miles had to follow LSUs legend

Miles outcoached him in 2007 as well.

You could make am argument that Miles outcoached Meyer in 2006 when only fumbles prevented LSu from winning that game.

UF made good halftime adjustments in that one though

Very good point. You could even say that Miles had even more pressure on him. Even though Meyer was very successful at all his stops.

I do agree that LSU looked to be the deeper, more talented squad on Saturday.

All I'm saying is that UF should never have all their RB eggs in one basket.

One thing about Meyer's teams is that the RB position is always questionable.

Yes, Demps is great but that even furthers my assessment, no way that Demps' injury should make that offense as bad as it is, your recruit DEPTH just for that possibility.

Losing Mullen really hurt Meyer's offense.

I dont think ever recovered. They are doubting themselves. Not to mention have a offensive identify problem. (A spread offense with a pocket passer QB)

I thought Meyer was the spread option guru? apparently he can't coach the offense and has delegated 100% of the defensive play calling. Hell of a bargain @ $4M per year for someone to just recruit and be the "CEO" of the team.

I wonder if steve adazio prefers to grill out on propane or if he's a charcoal briquette kindof guy?

Really? Does the name Joe McKnight ring a bell? How did Janzen Jackson compare to the rest of the 2009 class?

I think he's talking about Miles v. Corch. We lost just about everyone in the 90s.
