I think his wife and family don’t want him coaching anymore . He can be a consultant and host College Gameday . He signed a monster deal with Gameday .

Why would we think he's flipped a switch and wants to deal with it now?
We don't.

But if he did come then it'd say he's changed his mind and would likely do a pretty damn good job at it.

I don't think he's the type of person who'd only come for the money and mail it in.

Idk if he’s a Kamala voter or not, but I’m Trump supporter and have zero desire to see Saban here. He’s 70 years old and quit Alabama because he couldn’t deal with NIL. Well, NIL ain’t going anywhere, and I don’t want to lose recruits when he ge gets frustrated and leaves us. AGAIN

I'd take him. It would have to be kind of understood that he's only here for 3-4 years and the hope would be that his replacement would be on staff.

I wouldn’t want him as head coach (since he’s said he doesn’t want to coach in this NIL environment and we need someone all in for that), but if he wants to consult on the coaching hire or consult in some capacity afterward, or if he wants to be AD, I’d be for sure interested

He is 73 or 74 . His wife wanted him to slow down . Coaching at a high level is stressful .
I have the utmost respect for him . He can still contribute to the game thru consulting or College Gameday . Ultimately , the decision is his .
