Our hearts are heavy as we learn of the passing of our friend Mark Chapman, one of the best umpires in NCAA Baseball and a first-class man. We were blessed to witness his skills as an official and his sincere love of the game over many years at "The Box." Rest In Peace, Mark.

Man, I must have his name on a hundred broadcasts. Gotta really love baseball to do a job where you’re going to be berated every single game.
