A group of 4 UCLA fans were on the row below mine in Section 413 (Southeast end zone corner). They left at halftime, with the score tied, and did not return.

I stayed until we scored our last field goal, with roughly 5 minutes remaining. By then, victory was more than assured, and I was tired of simmering in my own sweat. I likened it to being a roast in a slow cooker.

If that makes me a bad fan, then criticize me until you feel better about yourself. I don’t care. FWIW, it’s harder to recover from prolonged heat exposure at 64 than when I was 34 or 44.

LOL

They’re in the shade! We do it to ourselves.

One of my biggest gripes when we visit opposing teams and the place is a mile high in the sun.

Where else would they go lol

This is one of the weakest excuses that I’ve seen from LSU fans. The UCLA fans could go out in Baton Rouge and enjoy the local scene just like the LSU fans do, but they instead chose to stay in the stadium and support their team.

They’re not driving in from 2,000 miles away and then driving right back home. They have hotels, and they’re making a vacation out of it.

Our fanbase blows. No excuse for it
