Has this been discussed?

Standard, and plus he's not a graduate transfer.

The freshman WRs on this team must be the real deal.

It's because he isn't a graduate transfer

Recruiting rankings had nothing to do with it. Watch his tape from Warren Easton and tell me he isn't the real deal. Johnson will wind up being a hell of a slot receiver wherever he lands.

Exactly! He will tear it up in some spread, but LSU needs much more from their WRs than just simple routes at or behind the line of scrimmage. He has legit talent and I think he should transfer to Oklahoma, Texas, or TCU. At least he'll be in the spotlight at those two places. I say that because a guy like Pat Mahomes not being recognized on a national stage just because he plays at Texas Tech seems completely wrong man. It's ridiculous how good that guy is, yet he's never brought up much when naming top college quarterbacks.

Maybe the Best Arm in College Football

This was written by Bruce Feldman for Fox Sports on June 3, 2016.

Sounds like a good reason for any wide receiver to go to Texas Tech if they want him

Comments on NOLA.com say Craig was pushing for more from Tyron, but Tyron didn't agree with that.

When a new position coach comes in there is always a chance a player doesn't get along with the new coach.

Saw this coming when Chark had all the hype going into the spring game and we brought in the big mofos.

Not enough room for everyone to start. Same situation at the DL.

There is more to this story it has nothing to do with grades or work eithic. I talked about this last year. QB issues not getting the ball, lack of offense, these kids want to shine. They feel they can make a difference. this is why they are leaving. we have history of this since last years transfers.

That's some of the reason, but these kids are ultimately leaving because they are getting passed up. They see the offense Miles has ran for years so believing it would change up automatically doesn't make any sense. They came here likely because of state pride and the effect of LSU having talented WRs in the NFL.

Both Dupre and Dural will go in the top 2 rounds of the 2017 draft showcasing LSU's continued prowess at the position. Guys like Davis, Chark, and Anderson seem like the next greats at LSU as well.

That's the best you've found too. A couple sentences from a reporter after a video released of him throwing a ball from his knees far. That's not recognition, it's a blurb to fill out a quota in the slow summer.

Mahomes likely leaves for the NFL this year where he'll probably become several scouts' "must underrated player". Tyron won't be playing with him.

50/50 Mahomes is gone by the time Johnson is eligible.

Saw him walking down Nicholson this summer going store to store trying to get a money order. That has nothing to do with nothing but he just seemed like one of those guys who didn't take their craft as serious.

And I guess it is a good thing we recruit those 4 and 5* WRs, because even with the 3 big names that left, we still have a plethora of other 4 and 5* recruits.

Exactly. For 2017, we still have speed demons in Chark, Davis, Dillon, and potentially Guidry, everybody minus Dillon is 6'2 or taller, and none of the WRs are toothpicks. Dillon's agility is unbelievable and I can't wait to see him, Ferguson, and Chark, show what they can do this year. There is even a positivity of guys like Davis and Anderson making some big plays as well.

Kind of figure he's been buried on the chart. LSU seems to be gravitating toward 6-3 guys who can outjump the other guyand not playmakers. There may be more to it than football however, who knows?

Kids immensely talented.
