With joe gone next season I feel like E/Brady will lean on the talented sophomores and CEH (if he doesn’t go pro)more in the run game and attacking the flats. Think Ingram and Kamara a few years ago when they caught a ton of passes out of the backfield along with getting more carries than we were used to seeing.

This is going to be very interesting. If he thinks he can have an NFL career (and I think he does, though at his size, I’m really not sure what it looks like) and with Joe graduating, he should probably go. If he comes back for whatever reason, I’m afraid Emery hits up the transfer portal. Especially if we sign another back. Not that he should—I really hope he doesn’t—, but dudes rated that high don’t go somewhere to be 3rd string until their JR years. Clyde’s decision will have a ripple effect.

I like how they are bringing the freshmen along slowly. Don’t want Joey Football getting lit up by a blitzing linebacker.

Mine too....and its funny because when he first came on board, I never pictured him as an every-down type of back....or even getting the bulk of the carries. Thought he was too small and too slow.

I think he'll go. The days of the lone bellcow in the nfl are gone. If you show you have a specific skill set, they'll gladly take you to try and form a "2-3 headed monster."

CEH has shown he has an elite ability to make a man miss behind the line with his jump cut. Combine that with his ability to pass protect and I think he'll get graded really well.

TDP has shown a ton of potential though. Can’t wait to see him as a feature back in the next couple of years

Helaire was my favorite last year, but I caught freshman fever with those two talented backs and forsake Helaire. I love his running style and the only thing I think he doesn't possess is top end speed.

Emery is a great back and will get it together. he and price will be a great 1,2 punch next year and Curry is no joke either.

Especially since the average shelf life for running backs is very short. If he gets a decent grade it would be a smart decision to go.

True enough to a point, but he damn sure gets the tough yardage and does what needs to be done. He doesn’t seem prone to mistakes, either.
