I'm always shocked by the idiots that say with him we win NC last year.

i'm always shocked that people assume the only difference in LSU winning and not winning the NC last year was him. would we have been better? sure. was he the missing link? debatable.

its only one persons fault he wasn't with us

i don't think anyone denies that, so not sure what point you're trying to make with that

It played a major role. Don't even think it didn't!

however he fricked LSU over and if you can't see that you're just as dumb as Les Miles!

He gave LSU 2 of the best years any player ever has. Owes LSU nothing IMO

Yeah you aren't understanding the point.

You'd think people would be mad at him for being selfish and costing us the NC.
I'm mean they believe had he been on the team, we'd won it.
I guess loving TM trumps LSU winning for some here.

What I call talking outa both sides of their mouth.

maybe those people are able to forgive someone who made a mistake. maybe they appreciate what he did for lsu in 2011. i think people who won't get over it because he hurt the 2012 season are selfish in their own right. tyrann hurt himself by getting kicked off the team. if it really affected your life by him getting booted, then that's sad. it's getting ridiculous that every time a thread is started about what he's doing in the NFL, someone HAS to interject and tell everyone what an a-hole he is. it's like clockwork

True, however when people start comparing him to Shaq status, we have a problem. I'm happy he is having success in the NFL, hope he keeps his nose clean. LSU doesn't need anymore embarrassments in the NFL!

He made about 10 mistakes.
Over and over... Make it worse it was the same one.

I don't hate or even dislike TM.
I just don't get why any LSU fan would put this guy on the pedestal the way some here do.
It's odd to me, guy can run fast and jump high... More important to some than loyalty and commitment.

Whatever... He gone.

You sure chime in on every thread about him

I get questioning his commitment, but his allegiance has always been to LSU. He's very loyal

Thats one hell of an assumption to make at the midway point of a season.

His four ints in the first few games is an amazing feat but if you've watched him, it seems more like extreme luck that it just falls into his hands. I see it as Mathieu just cranking up, shaking the rust off. He will be a monster playmaker going forward.

i don't see how you can disagree with that. He's been all LSU and loves the school. He was an idiot, but he fits the definition of loyal.

The ROTY players are usually the ones that find a way to avoid that rookie wall at about week 11-12 because none of them have played a season that long before

Actually I liked Lacy in college and wanted him to go to my Steelers, so I have nothing against the guy, but since Austin got injured, TW is on a tear

71 yards - game Austin was out
151 yards 1 TD - game Austin was out
27 yards 1 TD - Austin back
71 yards 1 TD - Austin back
64 yards 1 TD - Austin back

If he can average about 60 the next 8 games, you're looking at a 900+ yard rookie receiver. He reminds me a bit of Mike Wallace when he played for the Steelers. TD machine and could get open deep because of his speed. He doesn't have the routes down because of that system he played in at Baylor, but when he does, he will be a monster receiver. He almost won the Belitnikoff(sp?) last year.

Ell8ngton just doesn't get the touches.

We can agree to disagree, however the chances TM had at the end of his career with LSU, I don't call that loyal. Anyway, glad he turned his life around.

Need the attention don't you? Desperate people.

He could you hating bastard, and you are hating him specifically.

Smoking weed, he was an incredible playmaker at LSU, a guy who finished #5 in hesiman voting on defense, AS A SOPHOMORE! He then gets kicked out and spends a whole year out of the sport, comes back and kills it at the combine (4.43 40), makes plays in thd preseason, makes plays first game to the most recent games, and is a very known player. If he stops the weed smoke, this little mistake will be forgotten 3 years down the road by a bevy of his giant fanbase when the Cards are signing him to a 40-50 mill contract.

He was already wildly popular before he even stepped in the NFL and will become a legend.

Yea he owes everything to LSU, without LSU nobody see's his talent. He is a talented player, but left under bad terms. He couldn't put the pipe down, hope he stays clean.
