Some of you guys worked Larry pretty good.

I think it is important for fans to intelligently (and with class) defend Les Miles and the LSU program. Why?

one word: recruiting.

Public perception of a program is a factor in recruiting. When a program is considered to be on the "down" or "headed down", it makes recruiting harder.

Of course the best thing for recruiting is "WINS" but I think it is also important that the fans support the program when it doesn't WIN. That shows that the program is healthy and respected.

This guy is a bit over the top but his assessment about the Arkansas game is OK and he is right in most points. Les needs to control his team better and let Crowton keep up the pace on offense in the last quarter.

i honestly dont give a shite when a bama fan talks bad about les miles.
If Bama fans weren't afraid of Les Miles, they wouldn't talk so much shite about him. Fear is an overwhelming emotion.

The lack of discipline gets more and more apparent. More trash talking, more struting around after a normal play.

Les needs to get a grip on this or last season will become the norm.

So when Dorsey struts after a routine play but we win a NC it's alright. But when we do it and lose 5 games, we're undisciplined. Hmmmmmmm.

I agree with the lack of displine statements. I remember back when saban was here if someone got a flag for unsportsman like conduct saban was in that persons arse, grabbing his facemask and yelling as loud as he could. Looking back on last years game against arkansas, with all the stupid penalties, and you see miles with his arm around the player. almost like he was trying to console him.

Don't forget ULM the year before. When someone brought that up that douche didn't even acknowledge it.

No its not alright. You notice it less but those are the beginning signs of losing your team.

See Miami, etc, etc.

FWIW, Dorsey NEVER did his thing after a routine play. It was only after a sack or big hit/tackle for a loss. You made it sound like he did it after tackling someone 8yds down field.

I just don't know why you're getting worked up over what some Bama fanboy wrote on the internet.

I mean, look at this cheap wig wearing chump...

Dorsey did it all the time...give me a break. It was his "thing"...point is, nobody cares if you do it and win...bottom line. When you have a tough year it suddenly becomes "undisciplined"....full of baloney.

How was Dorsey's thing undisciplined? It wasnt a dance he just got fired up and pumped his fists. Every single college team in the nation does something similar when they score or sack. Dorsey was probably the classiest player this school has ever seen so to accuse him of being the opposite is ridiculous.

Dude...breathe....that's my point. If you're gonna call us undisciplined last year then you have to be fair. Truth is, we're not an undisciplined team....last year, the year before or any other year under Les. Only when you hit a bump do some throw the "losing control of the program" card.

he's wrote shitty articles like that before. i think the bama fans who continue to bash miles and down play the changes he made in the offseason is concernd that LSU will continue to be a powerhouse and is doing it without saban or "saban's players". i don't understand it, we all know saban made LSU what it is today, but he's not the be all end all when it comes to LSU's success. anyone that watched LSU last year knows there were two factors behind us going 8-5. poor qb play (at times) and horrible defense. i'm not saying jj is the next best thing at LSU but i think that position will be imporved. no matter how you slice, john chavis was very succesful at tennesse so i see no reason why he won't do the same at LSU. i also think coach haley and coach cooper are upgraded from the postion coaches he had while at tennessee, and i think LSU wins 9-10 games this year. i also don't understand the lack of respect miles get's when as far as what he did at oklahoma state. that place was a DUMP prior to him taking the job (and some of the time he was there) yet he managed to have a winning season every year while at OSU (other than his first). he also beat oklahoma, nebrask, and texas a&m all in the same year. that's something that doesn't happen very often in stillwater. i will say this, he didn't do a very good job hiring a dc while at OSU, nor did he do a very good job replacing bo last year. with that being said he has obviously learned from that in did a nice job making the necessary changes this year. it's going to be intersting to see what people say if we do win 9-10 games this year. i can't wait for the season to start.

he chewed the kid out on that 3rd down play and benched him for the rest of the game. Not Alem, but the one early in the drive. He put his arm around him but was giving it to him pretty good

frick no, bama was just a better team because of...better coaching during the regular season

Bama was the better team last year due to better coaching on defense and good-enough QB play. Thats it. Bama's regular season record was also aided by not having to play Florida.
