He seems to be catching a lot of flack in the media for this. I thought it was the right decision last night, and I still think it was the right decision.

If he makes it or the game is played out differently its considered "the right call".

I agree. Had we kicked the extra point, and bama scored a td they would be up 17-16 if that's final score, everyone would say "Les Miles made the wrong decision and lost us the game, Saban would have gone for 2, w/5 points book states go for 2, yada yada".

You NEVER, EVER, EVER go for (2) until you have to go for (2). Never take "automatic" points off the board. There were so many scenarios yesterday that proved this out.

Honestly, I thought everybody understood this.

Anyway, I still think the game was well played.
