Former LSU running back Kevin Faulk and linebacker Bradie James were two of 77 players that made the 2022 College Football Hall Of Fame Ballot on Wednesday.
Voting for the Hall of Fame will run through June 25 with the final class being announced in early 2022.
Kevin Faulk, LSU-Running Back-1996 First Team All-American who finished career ranked fourth in NCAA history in all-purpose yards (6,833)…Three-time First Team All-SEC selection and 1995 SEC Freshman of the Year…Set 11 school records during career and became first LSU back to average 100 yards per game during entire career.
Bradie James, LSU-Linebacker-2002 First Team All-American and NFF National Scholar-Athlete…Three-time All-SEC performer (First Team honors in 2001 and 2002) helped the Tigers to a 2001 conference title…2000 Peach Bowl Defensive MVP ranks second all-time in LSU history with 418 career tackles.

3rd year at least for #3, it is time!

Faulk should have been a first time lock......

Bradie is a questionable selection. I love the guy and he was a great Tiger, but I feel like those accomplishments are pretty standard for the Hall of Really Good.
Faulk is a shoe-in and cannot believe he's not in yet.

This... in fact I would characterize my reaction as shocked he is not already in...

I think him not winning any major individual awards and only being on one AA list as an all-purpose player is what's held him back this long. Had he been on better teams, he would have been in a long time ago

LSU is about to start stacking guys annually in the hall of fame after our run the last 20 years. Those elite guys we had are going to start hitting their time for the HOF.

James should have won the Butkus Award his senior year with 154 tackles.

He literally single handedly beat Houston.

I don’t think that’s the hall of fame accomplishment that will get him in
With that said he should have been a shoe in as a first ballot HOF.

Faulk should be in without question. James ……..loved the guy as a player but cant see hall of fame.
Side note about Faulk- best running back in LSU history probably………which reminds us once again of Cecil Collins coming in with even more talent and throwing it all away.

I always thought Josh Reed would get consideration before Bradie James.
