I have heard that number ghrown around.

IMO, that was his number, not what he turned down

He was at worst a 3rd round talent, and I was told he was contacted by a couple of teams at slots that were just below his number, but too far apart

Dude, the teams that called were offering less, thus he was undraftable

A team with nothing to really lose and a bigger signing budget took a flyer in case something didn't work out w LSU
