Miles inherited a 3 loss lsu team. Thats a fact. Saban's first sec title was with Dinardo players , so take that off his record.

I think we all want this. But at the same time I realize I want to win the lottery too. It just isn't happening.

well 1 loss was on a fluke play in a bowl

but 2004 was the first year after one full recruiting cycle. any CFB coach needs more than one recruiting cycle to recruit depth necessary to reload (and not rebuild). losing mauck, clayton, hill, and spears early was no easy task to reload at that point in the program building

i mean we had to start 2-star marcus randall at QB for most of the season while JR learned on the job

oh well then take 2007 off miles' record

You mean the same thing saban did his entire career at lsu?
You mean the same thing Saban has done at Bama every year except once.

wait, how many national titles does Saban have after rebuilding Alabama?

how many does miles have after inheriting a built LSU team?

who won in the head-to-head national championship matchup?

Its laughable how you excuse Saban's underachieving years but when Miles loses over 3000 yards of offense and our most experienced skill position player has 3 starts, it's miles' fault.

Thats why I said take it off because I knew at some point you would say this.

well he was talking about saban

and saban is leading the premier CFB program

LSU is looking up to Saban/Alabama. miles needs to improve to get to that level

miles has been here over 2 recruiting cycles AFTER inheriting a built program. it's not an excuse. it's not comparable

why has miles consistently failed at recruiting/developing QBs? why is he unable to identify and recruit top-shelf HS QB talent?

Ok so if we're not Bama we need a better achieving coach ?

If Miles loses the "kick 6" game you'd say he's not as good as the guy who did

I I dont care how many VOTED TITLES he has. Coaches and players have no control over even making the The bcs title game
The championship you win on the field? He has 2. bama has 2 sec titles in 14 years. I dont care about titles youre voted into.

Again,Miles inherited a 3 loss lsu team. he inherited a program that had lost less than 3 games once in over decade. You idiots that think he inherited this top 5 program are stupid.

we've been a "young team" for every year after saban's players left the program. this is always the excuse. every year
I guess "freshman" has a different meaning now...

The reason you dumbasses lose this argument is that your best attack against Les Miles is Nick Saban and Steve Spurrier. 2 of the greatest coaches in the history of college football.

Guess what, Miles isn't Bear Bryant or Vince Lombardi either.

If Miles quits tomorrow, you think the the next Saban is going to drop from the clouds?

And if you don't recognize that this team is younger than any other we have had in recent memory you are really stupid.

We are competing in the most competitive division in the best conference in football with guys that were playing at Tad Gormley and Muss Bertolino last year. I say again, get a grip.

the guys our current freshmen are replacing were the hallowed "young freshman" a few years ago. why did they not develop?

this is more of a question on defense and OL

i didn't bring up spurrier

and saban is the benchmark. he's teh best coach in CFB currently. he's who we have to look up to

No its not. You keep saying Miles inherited this great program. When miles was hired n the lsu program had lost less than 3 games ONCE since 1987. Get a grip on reality. Miles didn't inherit some top 5 program. That statement is just false.

Lsu's program had lost lest than 3 games 1 time since 1987. We weren't some top 5 program. I feel I needed to say it again

Running tiger, paid to post.

You are making your money with the PR agency and Miles agent today aren't you? How much are they paying you?

Les turned a flash in the pan program that had won one national title in 50 years

into a consistent top 5 program

he most certainly gets credit for the NC he won 3 YEARS after saban left. if saban wanted credit for that, he should have stayed and coached LSU to it, but my guess is LSU would not have won again with Saban.

LES > Saban everyday
