We could lose against Texas and still make it into the playoffs. We could beat Texas and still not make it into the playoffs. It would be a nice little confidence boost but other than that Texas doesn’t matter.

I think Florida, Auburn, and A&M have more implications on whether or not we make the playoffs or not. I think Florida will be a tougher game this year then Texas will because theyre a better team.

Texas game will set the tone; if we lose it will cast a big shadow over the season. If we win, it gives us excitement building into the conference slate.
