Aside from Alabama I have a hard time seeing LSU lose anywhere else. Vandy, Ole Miss and Miss State will be awful and I don’t see a loss there. Auburn, Florida, Aggie, and Arkansas will be tougher games but are all at home. Honestly if we can get by Texas, we should be 11-1 and in the playoffs.

The other key to that is I just don’t see 3 other teams that will be 11-1

Ohio State without Urban, Michigan always flops, ND will lose 3 games. Nobody will come out of the PAC 12. I think at 11-1, we could get a 1 v 4 matchup with Clemson

This game isn't going to be nearly as big as anyone thinks when Texas stumbles in at 0-1

Every game will be the biggest game of the season.

One week at a time.

Literally every conference game is more important than Texas.

Getting out the gate strong with a marquee win in Austin is pretty fricking big.

Shut the frick up. Nobody here plays and “has to focus on one week at a time”

True but there is also room to recover.

And it is OOC in the road.

If we win out after Texas we’ll be in the CFP.

Of course that’s pretty hard to do.

So let’s beat Texas to be safe

So Vanderbilt is bigger game than Texas? You people are fricking idiots. In the likely hood that we will lose, Texas is the biggest game aside from Alabama. And seeing as to we haven’t beaten them in 8 years, I won’t hold my breath. Beat Texas, the road to the playoffs looks really good

At the risk of sounding overdramatic, strictly from a supply and demand standpoint- the LSU/UT game is the biggest game of *all time*.

How can i say that? While I was lucky to get two tickets to the game through TAF, i’ve been sitting on pins and needles for months waiting to hear if we’d get any at all.. By comparison, i usually get 10 or 12 tickets to bowl games, neutral site games etc.. Hell, for the LSU/Bama Nat’l title game, i think i got six tickets.. so again, strictly in terms of supply and demand, due to the UT allocation and their shitty conference- there’s never been a bigger game than this one.

It’s certainly the biggest non conference true road game that LSU has been in in my lifetime.

False. Bama is the bigest game on the schedule, has been for some time now, and will continue to be for the forseeable future. I can't believe you honestly think this is even a question. Bama, hands down bc we recruit against them more than any other team for our in state top talent and elsewhere. frick bama and frick saban.

No shite huh? So you're just ready to write off the Bama game this season bc we haven't won in several years? With some of those games being very close and coming down to the wire with some questionable calls that just happened to help Bama win the game? We can definitely beat Bama this season. We have the talent to beat anyone in the nation.

And you think losing to Vanderbilt would be better?
