Jordan Jefferson, for all his flaws, was an athletic, mobile guy who could take hits, and who could evade a rush and scramble for a gain. He also played a completely different style than Lee, so he threw Bama's defense off guard when he came in.

Brennan isn't that guy, he's a dropback guy similar to Etling. More talented arm, way less experience, not big and doubtful he could stand up under the beating he'd take. It would be like if Les had subbed in Mett for Lee.

Now, Narcisse, on the other hand, would be an interesting dilemma. HE could be something that really jams up Saban's schemes, if you had the right package for him... and he was ready.
