He seems to have this problem thinking that Russell Shepard(let me spell it out for you so you don't get it confused with Trindon) I how slow you are, anyways, he has this problem that he doesn't think Shepard could have played anywhere else in the country last year and not start right away and put up numbers.

Me thinks that maybe Les Miles over-coaches his talent (e.g., Jamarcus Russell). What makes everyone think that LSU's talent is so overwhelming...because SI.com says so? I think Miles did pretty good with a 5'5" speedster with poor balance and fear of getting creamed by a linebacker twice his size.
On the other hand, Captain K. and I are sitting out on his back porch drinking shots of Jack Daniels and Jose' Cuervo and maybe I have had one too many.

I'm a fan of trindon's too. Honestly, sounds like Gary's scouting staff didn't communicate very well with him and his staff about the guy. In any case, we'll see.
Certainly doesn't look good on Miles though, this little wave of draftees not doing so hot at the next level.

if a running back recruit doesn't come to LSU because he fears the staff won't develop him to be a wide receiver in the NFL, I won't have a problem with it...
