Yep, and just because Burton said Bama was better, he is now this condescending douche. Wow.

It's one players opinion. LSU plays Bama in a month and all of this will be settled.

Da frick?

If you wanted to bitch about anything about our defense, it would be the LBs

I agree that Bama has bigger, more physical players, especially their front 7, but that doesn't mean they are a better defense. Different philosophies.

Our D is built on speed in the front 7

I don't know why it is so hard for my fellow LSU fans to admit that Bama has a better defense. There is no shame in that when you consider that LSU's D is still very, very good. Their D is run by the best defensive coach in college football with equally talented athletes. Nothing to worry about though. LSU has more playmakers on special teams and offense.

I watched the game again. Burton did close to nothing. He was jawing with some of guys in the backfield and prob didn't want to give them credit.

I think Alabama may stuff our run game... Guys like Hightower are rediculous...He looks like a lineman playing LB...impressive guy...Upchurch too.

21 is good too!

Lee will have to make some nice plays in this game.

I think LSU plays more players and depth will be a factor..We also have the best punter in the nation and that might be huge in this game.

It will be LSU's biggerst test, and possibly thier only true test of the year.

If you think about it, LSU hasn't really been challenged yet...not into the 4th qtr...

Tennessee is going to get slapped, and is Auburn

Alabama and Arkansas are the only 2 teams I am worried about.

If we can contain Richardson, we are going to beat Alabama by 10 or more..unless the refs just steal the game with phantom holds and the like

different defenses with different strengths, I find no real reason to say one is "better" than the other at this point...

Watch the Bama vs. UF game again and count the number of times a UF player is body-slammed in the white part of the field.

Bama knows they can get away with this ... if LSU played this way we would have at least 4-5 personal fouls called every game.

Because they are unintelligent. They have a "if it isn't LSU then it isn't as good mentality."

Yes he is!

He's mad 'cause the Tigers stole his lunch money! He's a sore loser and a buttmunch.
His little Gator pride is hurt. frick him!

Maybe Bama's better, maybe not. As has been stated before the Gators were moving the ball through the air before Brantley's injury so it's hard to see how he could say their secondary s better.

The Gump Thump is coming so be prepared. We will own that arse Nov. 5th in BDS. We are big and we are mean on defense and we will not allow anyone to run the ball on us.

Lesticles will panic and play musical chairs with his QBs and we will win this game.

well,I don't discredit Bama's D at all, they're damned good, I just find it hard to believe that LSU's Dbacks are not as good as advertised.

ETA: about that other stuff you said...

Alabama’s hands down a lot better. A lot more physical, just tougher guys.

If I had to pick one to not go against, it’d definitely be Alabama.

I like that, we have a opponent giving us bulletin board material going against future opponents.

Yep...and for the record most of the people on here know I am just having fun with my comments.

What scares me for us in the game is that I think y'alls defense is probably more talented at moving on the ball in getting interceptions and this could be a problem for AJ. AJ is doing a great job this year but he hasn't played anything close to LSU.

I guess this is why we play the game but I sure wish we were not playing LSU this year.
