Do you realize how many recruits he will get selling immediate playing time?
Its really easy to believe when you dont win an in conference game. If you win all your games, recruits will be suspicious how you can get playing time on a good team. Thats why Trent told the players to suck this year. Next year our current players will be suddenly amazing and + have shittons of great new talent.
This season is necessary for our DYNASTY

I'm not so sure that's what he told them but I do think his game-time strategy has "sucked" this year. I can understand the want to "slow the game down" and try to keep it close but we just don't have the horses to finish games now, also, all the losing has to wearing everyone down; instead, I think he should turn up the pace,press and run every chance they can and try to shoot more 3's like Petino did to success his first year at UK when he was also short-handed due to probation.

to only win 3 or 4 games you can sell that song but if we go 0 wins- I think it is going to be a tougher sell

Im not worried about the Basketball program...Trents a fine coach and will get it all worked out just will take time

The thing Trent has going for him is he can say Brady didn't do shite with his recruits, Trent came in and in his first year, won a SEC Championship. He can say depth was a issue when he came here, so PT is there and definitely proved he can coach at Stanford and his first year here...
I think this is why we're getting some big names in our classes. He'll have this program high again in 2-3 years.

Right now we try to grind out every possession and make way too many turnovers or take bad shots because the shot clock is winding down. I'd rather us jack up a 3 earlier in the possession than make a turnover with NO CHANCE at making points and the opposition running the break off our turnover.

I feel that this team has gotten a whole bunch better as the season has went along. I can definitely see the great coaching job that TJ is doing. He is gonna be a good one!!!

I give last year's credit to TJ bc if we had brady we would have been middle of the SEC, Brady had no idea how to run an offense or to recruit example Tack Minor, which Brady claimed as the next great PG for LSU = Fail! We went to the Final Four because every one of those players have played with each other since they were 12 years old and they knew how to play with each other without Brady.
what happened the next year with the same level of talent? NOTHING!
we cant win this year because it is a transition year,and Brady left TJ with terrible players. Tj is getting his recruits in so we can compete for the SEC in 2-3 years.

I hope you don't really believe that. The guy has done a HORRIBLE job with what he has this year. With TM and SW and BS, there is no way they should be as embarrassing as they are. They have completely quit on him. He didn't bring in ANY talent this year to help the players that were already there. You can say what you want about Johnson, but what he is putting on the court is not the sign of a good coach. They are not even competetive.
