passing ability....If he can come anywhere near the passing ability of the great Larry Bird, the arena will erupt. I know Bird was 6' 8" but they both make the pass a weapon...

You couldn’t fit “passing ability” in your title?

So because Larry bird played for this team decades ago that means this is the best team for someone who is good at passing to play for?

Oh yeah, Waters is definitely the next Larry Bird. lol

Bird is listed at 6'9" by the way. Tremont is a winner and he will add to that team for sure. He can create a shot on his own which is a must for any NBA point guard. He will do well and prosper. The kid is tough as nails.

Waters is going to be a solid NBA player because he brings a unique set of skills to the table and he's hungry to get better at his game. He might be short, but he's a good defensive player, can create his own shot, push the ball up the floor and is a match-up nightmare for opposing teams with his quickness and his ability to break down a defense in one-on-one situations.

There's a better chance he's showcasing his skills for the Maine Red Claws in the G League than the Boston Celtics.

Agree. You think about the potential of that team and it’s very exciting. You’re adding Waters to a nucleus of Bird, Ainge, McHale, and Parish. That’s a lot of talent

So much knowledge in this thread.
No doubt knowledge gained from playing in the League.
