Tre Dez is literally unstoppable in the redzone if you use him like Jimmy Graham was used back when he played for the saints. We should NEVER have issues scoring inside the 10. Throw him on an island and throw the ball where only he can get it. Instant touchdown.

This is a myth mainly born of the DJ Welter starting over Kendall Beckwith situation.
No, that myth started in year 1 of Miles’ tenure (2005).
It is indeed a myth though. Miles played tons and tons of freshen during his 11.25 year tenure at LSU.

You’re right, but that’s the biggest example that people point back to.

No doubt. People are stupid. He couldn’t compete with Saban’s stacking up 5-stars who were willing to wait till their 3rd year to start and stay all 4 years (there were obvious exceptions) and build up all that depth. So his price became “come in, play as a freshman, and we’ll get you to the NFL after your 3rd year.” His playing freshmen early is a big part of the reason he was able to get such good classes and why he was so successful.

And he's gonna play hoops after our natty run, right?

He should be our Jimmy Graham inside the 5-10 yd line.

Not sure about the speed, he just took what the corner gave which was the inside leverage.
Game over for the little fella.

Some might remember this former Tiger, he was Pimps high school coach. A quick video, please hit the like button. The other TE on the roster.

He has three catches this season, 2 are for TD's. I'll take those odds. I like getting him into the offense. He will only get better with playing time.
Last season against aTm, we ran 14 personnel, one RB and 4 TE's. Kelly likes this option. You've seen Bo Bordelon with the #89 jersey, playing the TE position. Kelly and Sloan wants this within their offense. Green will learn to block, look at Taylor now. Everywhere Kelly's been, he's put an emphasis on the position.
In Kelly's short time at ND, he had 8 TE's drafted into the NFL. To find 8 TE's drafted from LSU, you'd have to start in 1990, till present day.

If you look at Durham's two short yardage TD's, we ran 14 personnel. Durham and 4 TE's. Pimp, Bordelon, Taylor and (WalkOn) #45 GiVanni Peterson.
