I enjoy trash talking to a smaller degree. The LSU vs WVu game went over the top by both teams IMO. Refs should of called a flag or so on both sides and it would of ceased. Im gonna be pissed when it fricks us in a big game though.

The people who talk about trash talking have obviously never played sports before..there are countless decent human beings that have talked trash on the field, court etc. I dont understand why you/y'all think this makes the university look bad.

you can't ask the defense (specifically honey badger) to hold back the trash talking, its part of the swag this defense plays with. it says we know we are better than you and we want to make sure you know we are better than you.
if other teams want to shut honey badger up then they should beat him. until then, let the swag of the defense be known to all.

So long as they back it up, T-Rex and the others may trash talk to their heart's content. If they boast and then get beaten, they will look like buffoons. Such is the way of the world.

players have been trash talking since football began its existence. yes, today they are more animated and outgoing but the style of play and the amount of emotion involved in the game has progressed since 1893. if you think hester and flynn never jaw jacked a little bit youre not paying attention. coaches like a little trash talk, especially among skill positions. that starts in junior high. if it becomes excessive there are penalties that can be handed out. until that happens let em talk all they want. if you dont like out team's attitude..GTFO

He was standing there with folder arms. He wasn't chest thumping or trying to mouth something at the camera. People would be upset with any perceived sense of offense. Other players who were around him at that time moved away - perhaps his friends wanted him to have the spotlight or ABC crew told them to move it.
