Just trying to debate you guys.
I'm sure if I went to look at the rules, taunting and unsportsman like conduct would appear somewhere in there.

taunting and trash talking are two different things.

if they penalized players for trash talk games would last 6 hours

I am not a fan of booing college players and i feel the same way about the hully gully displays, Saban had his divas too. It really shows a lack of self discipline and could be costly in a big game.....i.e. BAMA

No it won't

Well,in that case I hope the lack of flags for trash talking continues.

I am a bit concerned about how much sand some of the LSU fans have in their vagina. As many other people have metioned here, the WVU players were in our defensive players grills from the first play of the game. Its obvious that a douche like you did not see that because you would have mentioned it in your OP. When you get home from work today, grab your self a cold brew go sit outside and think about the fact that LSU has a #1 ranking right now and that TM7 is the best fricking defensive player in all of CFB. Stop looking for reasons to down the players.

A little personality does not = lack of self discipline.

I want to apologize to everyone for the players that they were not born as robots.

I just realized you are a Boise State fan - that explains a lot.

I know this sounds stupid.. but I talk so much shite in fantasy football to the point people question their starting line-ups when they play against me because people want to beat me.

I've made the playoffs before because some dip shite made a trade early in the season, basically giving up his star players, who were off that week, but didn't want to not give me a win. The team he traded with became a much better team, which ended up beating a team I needed to lose in order to get into the playoffs.

I get it, its just fantasy football played by some dip shits.. but getting in people's head works.

Nor did he bare his chest, do a knife to the throat move, etc..... see classless moves by UT quarterback Tyler Bray last season.....

What J Lee did was (I'm guessing here) respond to a thumb (or fist) etc. to the ribs, nutts, or throat under the pile.... and like was said -- it was 1 time -- not repeatedly.

stop with the bullshite excuses, either you like it or you dont. Trash talk is trash talk in any form, if you run up to a player and talk trash to his face, it is what it is. Doesnt matter if he did it once or hundred times, he did it and you didnt include him in your discussion, so me thinks you have a motive.

Fool,I am a LSU fan and season ticket holder.
I also have a ton of respect for Boise State and what they've accomplished this decade.

I'd prefer to see some humility on the field --- beat the other team with talent and superior play.... save the BS - it's not a good reflection on the Team or the University and it's getting a bit out of hand from my perspective.

+1

I hope Miles will do something about it. I was shocked to see that Miles allowed our beloved Tigers to do what they did on Sat. night.

I appologize if you lack the intellegence to realize that an illegal action in NCAA football is called a penalty. Just because the flag wasn't thrown this time does not mean it did not cross the line.

NCAA Football 2011 and 2012 rules and interpretations
pages FR10-FR13
Statement on Sportsmanship adopted 2009

Talking to an Opponent
Talking to an opponent in any manner that is demeaning, vulgar, abusive or
“trashy’’ or intended to incite a physical response or verbally put an opponent
down is illegal. Coaches are urged to discuss this conduct frequently and
support all officials’ actions to control it.

I bolded the word for you so you can find it.

Holy shite - now we have fricking attorney on the case. Apparently this would show that it wasn't deemed bad enough by the officials to throw a flag. Besides, there would have been a ton of offsetting penalties since both teams we doing it. Would have made for a long game.

TRASH TALKING COMES WITH THE POSITION FOR DBS. THINK OF ALL THE GREAT ONES TO EVER PLAY THE GAME LIKE DEION AND ED REED. EVERY DB IN THE NFL TALKS MORE shite THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE, YOU JUST DON'T SEE IT ON CAMERA.

DBS NEED TO HAVE SOME SWAG AND BE A LITTLE COCKY. THEY ARE ON AN ISLAND OUT THERE AND THEY NEED TO GET IN THE RECEIVERS' HEAD. TRASH TALKING HELPS THIS. THINK OF ANDRE JOHNSON AND FINNEGAN. JOHNSON LOST HIS HEAD AND GOT KICKED OUT OF THE GAME. EVEN THOUGH FINNEGAN GOT HIS arse BEAT, HE ACHIEVED HIS PURPOSE BY TAKING HIM OUT OF THE GAME!

STOP BEING PUSSIES AND LET THE TRASH TALKING AND arse KICKING CONTINUE.

After watching the replay I noticed the wr for mountaineers was really pushing their buttons..but still, I like to see our team just kick arse and take names...save the talking for after the game.....

I agree it wasn't deemed bad enough by these refs. Neither was the excessive holding by the WVU line, nor was Holgerson openly cussing the refs and players, but that doesn't make it any less wrong.

Trash talking and banter between players is part of the game. It can go overboard. Maybe what we saw was media bias and over coverage and maybe there was a lot more talk in this game by both sides. Regardless, the ABC coverage was certainly highlighting what I would deem excessive on both sides of the ball.

you can clearly see what kind of people we are trying to persuade up in here.
Not going to get through to these types.
May as well just move along to something other than trying to teach humbleness and couth to mouth breathers.
