Like most of you, I amused to stellar defense. Tackles for losses, excellent downfield coverage and very few mental mistakes. And while I completely agree that we need a new scheme or an updated plan of attack, the lack of talent in the field is obvious. Not having Wingo hurts a lot, but the play of the LB’s is laughable. #1 is always out of position and just not fast enough to make plays. Perkins has been ok, but not as disruptive as last year. And Penn can’t do it alone. Let Weeks play and make mistakes…..at least we know he will go 100mph.

The td run in the first half going in the south EZ (I believe it was Etienne) was laughable. His horrible angle and the whiff looked like one of those contrived whiffs when teams let a special needs kid “make a wish”.

Offense keeps you in games, defense wins championships. Its a bizarre season for LSU.

The presence of Daniels did a whole lot to cover up the pitiful roster left by Ed. It can’t be overstated how awful he was at personnel management and recruiting.

Tough year? In the last year, we have won the west, won a women’s basketball championship, won a men’s baseball championship, and now hopefully have another 10 win season with most likely a Heisman. Yes, the defense is a tough pill to swallow. But overall, we are damn lucky to be fans of this athletic program. BK has us on the right track.

Agreed with you until your last sentence. Not sure if BK has on the right track or not. Still TBD.

Yes, he has us on the right track. Bk knows how to build a good defense and he will figure that out at LSU. If you have been watching this guys history, then you would know he can build a solid D. He will get it fixed just like the special teams after last season. He was handed a total shite show, and in his first two years has won the west, and most likely a Heisman. And with only 39 scholarship players when he first got to town. Stop acting like an Alabama fan.

Offense and defense both keep you in games and both win championships, which you might be surprised to find out, are decided by who has the most points.

If we finish w 10 wins and a heisman it’s undeniable CBK is the guy and has us on the track.

I don’t find anything about our defense amusing. Or stellar.
