This will work. Just go before the gates open and take both parts of the ticket. If you have a confirmation number, you're definitely going to be fine.

This happened to me. Just put tape on the back of the ticket to tape it back together. They dont tear the ticket, just scan it.

yea..they dont even have to hold them to scan them, just tape it together and let them scan it

Happened to me, ticket office said tape it back on or tape it to back of ticket, no wrinkles in tape so scanner can read it.
