Miles said he would tell the QB's, who would be the starter "probably" on Thursday...said all 3 will play, each will know what plays they will be expected to run in certain situations....he added, No need to put pressure on the "Starter"

If one plays real well on Saturday, he will see more snaps as the season progresses

it wouldn't shock me if Lee being held out was a precautinary thing to ensure he would be ready to take a lot of snaps Saturday, but i am fully expecting Hatch gets the first two or three drives.

The biggest problem with Hatch is that he gives us less of a passing game than Marcus Randall did, so we have to get creative with him.

Agreed, but remember who the OC is now. We don't need an all-american QB to be successful.

What da hell does it matter?? just support and cheer for whoever it is, whenever it is, whatever game it is, and so on. We are going to be FINE at QB. Get ready for lots of smash mouth, running the football with a pass play or 3 thrown in.

how does it not matter? the QB is the center of the offense, and the offense (in case you didnt know) scores the numbers on the big board above the people yelling for the purple and gold team

once again, how does this not matter. we can only go so far w/ our running game. theyre good, but defenses will key in on our running attack, and then what? we need someone good behind center if we want to repeat.

i would imagine all 3 are capable of throwing screen passes, and short slant routes

okay, our gameplan for every game will be: run, screens, slants. there's no team in the sec that can figure out that genious gp

for lower tier competition and early pre-conference matchups where one is trying to limit the playbook as much as possible???

i sure do...short dump and runs, screens, slants and a mix of 4 RB's, sounds about like what one should expect for the most part in the 1st 3 games

I'm pretty sure this thread was about who will take the 1st snap Saturday. Nothing more.

The poster who started this thread made no allusions that he wanted to know who was gonna start the entire season.
