Post game interview. Said they were the best team in the nation and that they could play LSU again and they would beat them.
Didn't Matt Leinart do this? This is one of the worst things you can say after a loss. Makes you look like a bitch.

I immediately thought of this when I read the thread

Matt Leinart also thought he would be a good NFL QB...

So, what, Alabama should forfeit their season because they have 1 loss, which happens to be to the top rated team in the country, LSU?
It's not 'Bama's fault they were selected, just as it was not LSU's fault that it got the opportunity to play for it all back in '03, despite having 2 regular season losses.
We need a playoff PERIOD.
Regardless, though: I'm glad to play 'Bama again 'cause it's an opportunity to leave no doubt.

Or create a shite load of doubt, depending on the outcome.

Nice bump so maybe the team sees this and doesn't forget

maze in another interview said the pass he threw wasn't perfect b/c of his hurt ankle.
maze also messed up on the punt, not b/c it hit the wire, but, he was crippled. he couldn't move while the ball was in the air.
so, who played an injured maze. was it the hc or the assistant?
was it the same guy who tried 4 50yrd fgs?

LSU had 1 loss in '03. There was no argument that LSU shouldn't be in the game. Oklahoma got hammered in their CG. They shouldn't have been there. In '07, when LSU had 2 losses, OSU was the only 1 loss team. LSU made it because they were the SEC Champions and had beat the shite out of Va Tech, who thought they had an argument to be in the game.

The Jim Everett was the best. I'm glad someone posted it, I was going to do it.
I normally don't like him b/c he's a West Coast guy, but he speaks his mind and doesn't go along with all the other ESPN homers.
