Are you willing to sell your Micah Gibbs batting gloves? My husband was a catcher when he played college and Gibbs is one of his favorite players at LSU recently. I know he would love to add this to his LSU memorbilla collection. I'm thinking this would be a great Father's Day gift. Please email me lsugrldej8@gmail.com.

hey ole greg...according to secman12 we(collectors) should never get any autographs because we are over the age of 3.
i don't hunt or fish. collecting and going to LSU ballgames is my hobby.

I was the one that referenced olegreg. I too and not married, no kids, don't hunt or fish have no hobbies other than LSU football and baseball and occasionally basketball. I don't see the harm in getting autographs for your collection. When you meet these guys that creates a memory and by having the item that brings those memories back years later. I am not saying I am a hoarder, but a few things here and there don't seem like an issue.

yea, that is what i said..lol...actually all i said was it is wrong to be making money from getting things signed and selling them for profit, and almost the entire thread agreed and if that is not enough, it is against NCAA rules and could cost a player eligibility....but do not let the truth get you buddy..lol

so olegreg, what do you think? Is it ok to profit from autographs and maybe get players in trouble? because I have NO issue with collectors and am one myself

I do not sell things out of my collection, esp personal items given to me by players. I only sell or trade my doubles or pieces I buy in a lot that I have no interest in.

bullshite. You have sold many of items from your collection as well as bought many of other items that were not of a (lot) with the intention of turning them for a profit. You dont have "Doubles" you buy them or get them signed just to turn around and sell them

I have no issue with anyone getting autos regardless of age. I do have a problem with greedy people who take time away from other fans to make a buck and act like thy are all saints or claim "I don't do that".
