why the frick do you people reply to these threads without even reading it???
I read the whole thread, and even though he thought jl should be given a chance, the fact that he compared two single game performances is retarded.

Just curious as to how many passes vs. LaTech did Lee throw away because of lack of pass protection (receiver not through running his route) or how many were drops.

You should also note that the La Tech game followed a devastating loss to Bama and the whole team basically quit just like in the Troy State game the year before.
That is a huge difference that people choose to continually ignore in that game. It wasn't just Lee playing bad. The whole team from offense to defense played like utter shite that day.
Let me just preface this by saying that Lee should start or be given very significant time next Saturday. The bottom line is that it ain't working and you have to see what you have to work with. Also, JJ hasn't exactly looked like a leader out there as of late bickering at the WRs, etc.
But let me say this, we had PLENTY of open WRs during the La. Tech game. Our team did not quit. Yeah, we were flat and the D struggled in the 1st half before shutting Tech down pretty much in the 2nd half. No doubt, they weren't as excited as they were the previous week. J. Lee's passes were as off as a QBs passes could be. I don't blame JL, but TT got knocked out of the game trying to catch one of his passes, so I'm sure that didn't help the offense. I'm sure JL was excited to play, but the bottom line is that their performance didn't have that much of an impact on JL's performance. Hell, KW had one of his best games ever. JL was just off and the offensive play calling was atrocious and put him in an even more difficult situation.
There's no reason to say people continually ignore anything. He had a bad game. Just like JJ had against Vandy and again last night. JJ has been playing so bad that the La Tech game doesn't seem like that big of a deal now. And that's a huge issue. JL deserves a shot and there's no need to try and defend any issues he had last year. He's the backup, we're struggling hard and he should get a shot to see what he might be able to do. That's IT. Otherwise, why is he on the team? Why have a player on the team if you don't intend to let them really try and help you.

That wasn't what I was doing. Look at the quote in the topic title. My point was that if you can say JL shouldn't start because of the one game in 2009, then you can easily say the same thing about JJ's performance yesterday.

Efrad, oh wise one, tell me what last year has to do with this year. I'll answer it for you. Nothing you moron. Jefferson isn't getting it done. Period. We need a change.
I take it reading comprehension isn't your strong point.
I want JL to start.

This is the dumbest thread ever. You cant give a QB one game to judge him. JL's 2008 ( pick six )offense was way better than anything JJ has to offer.
I don't think you know what you are talking about.
