UGA was MUCH MUCH better last year than this year.
Last year's UGA team with Stafford and Moreno would have most likely lit us up again this year and won comfortably with JJ in there and unable to keep pace.
But hey...5-0 baby!!!!

No, it would be 7 (interception that ruined a potential touchdown) plus 4 (incomplete pass that leads to a field goal) for Jefferson, while it would be 17 (two pick 6's and interception that automatically put UGA in field goal range) plus 21 (three interceptions that could have been LSU touchdowns).
So that would be 11 versus 38. I don't like this comparison because of the variables, but that would be the consistent way to do it.

JL wouldve lit up Georgia;s defense. They have the worst pass D in the SEC
Only if you consider throwing the defense TD passes lighting them up

No, Lee's interceptions were not thrown in the redzone

I'm glad that we won. Heck, I was jumping around my house going crazy. Giving everyone high fives, giving my wife the traditional TD kiss.
But, I also know that our D played lights out in the first half. Our offensive line was dominating Georgia in the first half. We were running the ball successfully and JJ was even making good decisions with the ball. We actually looked like a top 5 team.
Unfortunately, with everyone on offense clicking including the OLine and everyone on defense playing well, JJ's poor play kept Georgia in the game and put us in a bind. He played horribly for the first 23 minutes of the 2nd half. He looked confused, scared, and lost.
If he can keep it together when the rest of the team is playing well, what's he gonna look like when the rest of the team struggles?

Then you are just designing a system that makes Jefferson look as bad as possible which isn't all that surprising.

Jefferson played great in the first half, the second half..................................

So you're saying that if JJ throws an incompletion, then he still costs us points?

No Im not but I realize that he is not that good.

You are saying that a pick six is the same thing as throwing an interception in the red zone. That doesn't make sense.

JJ threw a pick in the redzone, LSU shouldve scored there, thats 7
JL threw a pick six on his own 20. Thats 7 points for UGA.

Oh and JL overall is better?
Seriously? I smell double standard here. There is no way JLee is a better qb than JJ based on what Ive seen of both of them.
JLee would not have "lit" up anything given his track record passing wise. Where are you getting this from?

Any QB that played for LSU last year, would be 5-0 the way the defense has played this year. JJ won today, but Hatch and JLee would have scored often enough in the 1st half, that the game would not have been close. LSU lost this game last year by giving up 38 points. We do that again, and we lose again.
Sorry to burst some posters bubble.

the second half..................................
.......three of our guards were throwing up and the Georgia defense adjusted and put on great pressure and forced incompletions, not to mention numerous key drops by the LSU wideouts.

JL played like shite last year and JJ deserved his chance after the Bama game. Now, JL deserves his shot this season. Miles refuses to give QBs a chance

Yes, and that's a terrible metric.

I cant even keep this argument going my head is hurting so bad. People coming from 5 different directions

I don't think that Lee deserves a chance to earn the starting job. Jefferson hasn't played that horrible yet, though he's come close.
But, I think that the team could benefit from Lee getting a series when Jefferson begins to struggle (aka, the 2nd half today). I think it would help Jefferson tremendously to be able to watch what is going on from the sideline while the coaches talk to him. He could have used a break to calm down also. If not Lee, then at the minimum, run RS in the wildcard for the entire drive.
Anything to break the negative mojo that Jefferson got stuck in.

You are so inconsistent. Jefferson is 5-0, is completing 64% of his passes and has thrown 7 TDs and 2 interceptions yet you want him benched. After the Bama game, Lee was 6-3 as a starterhad thrown (I think) 11 TDs, 14 interceptions (6 pick 6's), and was completing 53% of his passes and you think that was the time that he no longer deserved to be the starter.
Now I can undertand why Miles didn't want to rush Jefferson as a true freshman last year and why he went with Lee, but the play of the two QBs is in no way comparable.
