MSUtiger-

Again, this bet was pure fricking BS for proving your point as I mentioned several times in this thread. Jefferson didn't have a great game but he lead the Tigers to 2 4th quarter TD's and passed for almost 40 more yards than his average coming into the game.

well if 170 yards is your average, you shouldnt be a starter. He played terribly in the second half.

False. He lead us to one 80 yard TD drive. Him handing off to Scott twice is not leading a drive. Scott and the Oline did that.

He lead an 88 yard TD drive in the last 5 minutes of the game. Are you retarded?

He has no pocket presence he is terrible in the redzone. On that 88 yard drive the receivers did a majority of the work. He missed on multiple passes. He had a horribly thrown screen to Toliver. I will rewatch the second half tommorrow on cox and write down everything he did wrong if thats what I have to do to prove to you he isnt that good.

Any QB that played for LSU last year, would be 5-0 the way the defense has played this year. JJ won today, but Hatch and JLee would have scored often enough in the 1st half, that the game would not have been close. LSU lost this game last year by giving up 38 points. We do that again, and we lose again. Sorry to burst some posters bubble.

Oh Im soo glad you said that. You basically made me remember another reason why I take JJ over JL.

The defense was on the field far less than they were last year. Why?

1. Overall they played better........given.

2. The offense actually gave them time to rest by

a. not turning over the ball every 5 minutes

and..

b. converting on 3rd downs to keep drives alive.

If you nitpicked every quarterback to the extent that you nitpick Jefferson, you wouldn't find a single college QB worthy of your team besides Sam Bradford.

Look at the teams we have play so far. Georgia is not a good team.

All q.b.s get props when a team gets a TD drive. If they hand off, throw, etc. Why should JJ be left off?

Are you talking about scoring for LSU or Georgia? He was put in a tough situation where he clearly wasn't up to the task. It wasn't all his fault, but get off of his nuts already.

That's borderline, but they are basically the only team. Therefore, the argument that "JJ/LSU hasn't played anyone" can basically be applied to everyone.

because he didn't actually "lead" us to a TD. he did nothing. Absolutely nothing. He didn't call an audible, he didn't put a player in the right position. He lined up, took the ball and handed it off to Scott.

Les Miles was content to run the ball and attempt a 45+ yard field goal for the game instead of letting Jefferson try to make a play. Les Miles decided to not give Jefferson an opportunity to "lead" us to victory.

Therefore, saying that he lead us to 2 4th quarter TDs is misleading and false.

Do you count the passes that are dropped?

But that 80yd drive was JJ's. I agree with you on the second TD. He did nothing other than what he was suppose to do.

The previous TD drive is another story.

Jefferson needs some work still. I think J. Lee will get strong looks next season as the starter.
