If I can say only one School won the N. C.
What did the other top coordinators do that caused their team not to win the N. C., or their coaches???
The only easy day was...Yesterday

I don't really know what this post is saying, but if it is asking me whether or not I'm happy with the recent OC hire, that answer would be no.
I re-read the post, I get it now. There are coordinators that are elite in CFB, and a lot of the time it's not their fault that they lose a N.C. The real problems come about when you decide to hire someone like LSU did. Not elite, old as dirt offensive coordinators USUALLY aren't what elite programs such as LSU want to have running their offenses. ESPECIALLY when their last head coach was canned mainly because of offensive issues.

Well Oklahoma decided in OT of the semi final game that they didn't want the Heisman winner to throw anymore

Hey genius guess what? Winning a championship is freaking hard even if you have top coaches across the board.
How much harder do you think it is to do when you have coaches no one else will even hire? You're stacking the deck against yourself when you make bad hires, making long odds even longer.

So then what does the fact that the new OC at Lsu wasn't even highly though of enough to be OC at any one of the schools to not win the nc?

My post was not if he is the best choice, but top coaches did not win the N. C.

not in disagreement, but in OT Baker did not have the same advantage that he usually has as the field of play gets smaller...less area for his receivers to roam and likely, less time as well.

Tua sure made Alabama's coaches look good compared to Jalen.

Are you saying that Saban isn't the best coach in college football?

Tua won the NC. I guess Sabin just wanted to make the season interesting by playing Hurts the whole year. If Tua had played the whole year with all the rest of the great Talent Sabin has stacked up it would have been a pretty dull season as Bama would have just blown out team after team from the first game. Even Matt Canada could have coached that team to a NC with Tua at QB
