1. Chris Jackson - Dude sold out the PMAC and was unreal to watch. I'm too young to remember Pistol, but I imagine he was the same way. I would get pissed when he felt obliged to pass to his teammates. You wish he just dribbled down to the top of the key, went between his legs a couple times and rained 3's EVERY TIME we had the ball. Could have averaged 50+ easily.

2. Shaq - Freak of nature that just made other centers look like 8th graders. Beast.

3. Cecil Collins - Any time he touched the ball, you thought he was going to score. Amazing talent. Such a shame.

4. Kevin Faulk - Looked like he was just playing at a different speed than everyone else - much like Reggie Bush as USC.

5. Eddie Kennison - Nothing got your heart pumping like all of Tiger Stadium chanting "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie" when he trotted out to return punts.

EDIT- I guess I'd throw TM7 somewhere in there now.

Pistol Pete...hands down the most entertaining and ground breaking sports figure of his time. Head and shoulders above his peers. I mean NOBODY even thought of doing what Pete did. Phenomenal. Would be interesting to see how he stacked up today.

God rest his soul.

5.
quote:

...addai(loved how hard he ran
- he was awesome. remember that game ('04 I think) when Jamarcus spotted the Gators 2 early touchdowns and Randall and Addai brought us all the way back?
4. Don Redden - the first year I seriously got into LSU basketball 1986 Final Four run
3. Kevin Faulk - from his first game at aTm (and my first road trip as a college student) he was excitement. every time he touched the ball a TD was possible. Don't forget about Faneca, who opened many holes for Faulk.
2. Chris Jackson - scored 50+ several times as a freshman. Now, we get excited when someone hits 30.
1. Defensive linemen 2003-2011 - Of course Booger McFarland did it before these guys, but starting with Lavalais, Kyle Williams, Hill, Spears, Wroten, Dorsey, Jackson, Brockers, Nevis, Montgomery, . . . WOW! These guys are exciting and make me not want to leave my seat when the defense is on the field.
