Hands down best hitter since Todd walker

He might have the prettiest swing I've seen at LSU. He just makes it look so natural

Agree, and I can see him adding more power numbers next year.

Not old enough to have seen Todd Walkers swing

He’s got that sweet lefty swing down pat.

Dude is terrible. 2 game on base streak... weak.

Todd Walker is definitely the comp as a hitter. He's a level above Duplantis/Stevenson/Laird. Does remind me of Duplantis or Laird defensively though.

I don’t know that I would take Todd Walker over Dylan Crews.
Curiel is doing great, but I doubt he gets picked #2 in the first round when his time at LSU is done

Don't count it out the way he's going.

I heard the reasons why he dropped out of the first round, but I think they missed the mark of him. He’ll be a first round pick next year. Maybe not #2 overall, but Top 10 isn’t out of the question.

And just hit another home run, those seem to be traveling a little further these days.

He was never drafted. He took his name out of the draft the night before it started.

I know. Because he was viewed as a first rounder before his SR year and was expected to be picked around the third round after his Sr year.

It’s a very similar situation to Crews. He had a poor summer and his weight was a concern(Power). It’s worked out great for him and LSU. Kids going to add 10-15 lbs muscle. His power will only improve. He is going to be a .350 18HR 60 RBI guy next year. He will be a top 5 draft pick when he decides to go. He is a generational hitting talent.

While I agree he hasnt had the AB's in his career to prove consistency, that and maybe power, is the only thing preventing him from being a top 5 overall pick. And now he has two HR's in last two games.
I hate to oversell a kid this early, but the double he hit down the left field line on Sunday in his second AB, might be the most plate impressive plate appearance we have all season. There is no way in hell he should have been able to let that pitch travel as far as it did, tuck his hands inside, and make that solid of contact and drive that ball to the opposite field that way. I was sitting just over his inside shoulder and to see him do that from that angle was worth the price of admission.
