The guy has been at LSU for ten years now and I always thought he was a top notch strength and conditioning coach. But it seems over the past few years our guys aren't as ripped up as other SEC teams. Is this due to recruiting? Developing players for certain schemes? An overall shift in the personality of the team? What gives?

The Saban steroid era is over.
Alabama was the biggest team I've seen this year.
LSU wasn't even close to them physical wise.

Miles probably does the honorable thing and got that out of the program.

I'm just saying steroids and whatever else is being used is more prevalent in the college game than people realize. If it was a problem in MLB and NFL, etc. it's a problem in college athletics too - and it's probably a lot easier to beat the system than in the professional sports.

Steroids or not.....LSU looked gassed many times in games. Course, one could argue that it was due to the O not being able to stay on the field and I think thats a valid argument.

BTW the steroid thing in all college sports is prolly true certainly would not surprise me. What are the doping policies and testing policies any body know?

Moffitt doesn't do a good job but you can't say that here because he's untouchable on the Rant.

no you said LSU was big then, Alabama is big now. It is used in NCAA. Not nearly as much as Pro sports, i'd think. It's expensive for college kids. Pro athletes can pay big money for it and big money to hide it. Is it a "problem"? I don't know

The protocals and programs used by our staff are on on par or better than any other S&C staff in the country. Coach Moffit is not the problem, he can only follow the needs given to him by the staff.

The level of athlete has declined recently.

is creatine as popular as it was in the early 90's? I remember some guys getting huge from that diet.
I also saw Androstenalone is not available at smoothie king anymore. Times a changing

FWIW: Alabama's Strenth coach trained under Gale Hatch the same as Moffett.

When LSU beat Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl, why do you suppose that Moffitt received a call from Saban asking him to go to Bama while Moffitt was still on the field celebrating the win? Why did Butch Davis ask him to be on his staff at Cleveland?
