Chavis, Craig and now Robinson. Couldn’t make this shite up

Chavis was on his way to being a washed up coach.

Craig had already failed several times whenever given more responsibility.

At a minimum, Robinson has a recruiting pedigree, experience, and contacts that can help a lot of programs.

I don’t care about losing him, because Faulk will be an improvement as a coach, and he’s played a big role in recruiting when prospects are on campus.

However, I’m not crazy about Robinson going to a divisional rival. Jimbo hasn’t produced on the field yet, but he’s laying a foundation to be more competitive. A coach like Robinson isn’t going to hurt. Chavis and Craig were negative additions for the Aggies.

I'd like to.

A lot of times great players don't make great coaches. But I have a good feeling about Faulk. He seems like as good a person and role model as a football player. He has had success at the next level and he's in a position to teach kids how to succeed on and off the field.

I think NattyTiger is correct.....Coach Robinson was “encouraged” to leave.

There's absolutely no doubt about it. Rumors have been swirling about him since mid-season. Originally it was going to be Frank Wilson but he took the McNeese job.
