It happened once in the last decade. And then if you keep counting back decade by decade it happened one other time in the previous decade. But still if you want to combine from 2010 to 2019. 0.006% of coaches have done it. Yes it's unreasonable.

Two of the last 10 years Vanderbilt have won it.

4 of the last 20 years Vanderbilt and South Carolina have won it.

And neither of those teams were much below the level of LSU when they won it. They were one of the elite 8-10 programs in college baseball in those years. But still they are the only two that have managed it. And only one of them did it within the last 10 years. There's 299 division 1 teams all with a coach. So Tim Corbin was the only one that managed it. He's the 0.003% that you expect Jay Johnson to be. Once again it's an unreasonably absurd expectation. I hope it happens, but I don't expect it. It rarely happens. Less than 1% of D1 coaches have done it. Lol I don't know how many times I have to keep relaying the message to you. If you want to keep quoting me, go for it.

Vanderbilt won in 2014 and 2019. That’s the same decade and it was the last decade not 20 years ago. If you wanna go back 20 years Texas and Oregon State both won multiples in the previous decade. You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about.

I can tell you aren't exactly a rocket scientist by the thread but what year is it? Is it 2022? When you come to the conclusion that it is, go ahead and count backwards 10 years. That is what we call, "the last decade." How many coaches won two national championships within that time frame? Tim Corbin? Is he 1 out of 299 coaches? If yes than he counts as 0.003% of Division 1 baseball coaches. Now if you want count back another decade from 2012. How many coaches won two national championships from 2012 to 2002. Was it only Ray Tanner? If yes, then once again, he was 1 of 299 coaches to accomplish it.

Even if you count from 2009 to 2019, two coaches managed it. That's 2 out of 299 or 0.006% of Division 1 coaches. And once again I said, "how many coaches have won 2 in the last decade?" One and that's Tim Corbin. Only one. Just one. It's not something you can expect out of a coach if only one has done it in the last 10 years. It's unreasonable to expect it. Everybody HOPES it will happen, but to expect it is a fool's errand. To expect it and then complain all over a baseball thread when others don't is even worse and more irritating. Now quit replying to me, quit hounding everyone on Tigedroppings about how we don't have the same unreasonable expectations as you. And then just added another decade to include Ray Tanner and said he was the only one to do it in the previous decade as well. 2022>2012 (going back a decade) 2012>2002 (going back another decade).
