We are terrible on offense, and people expect that to suddenly change against the best D in college with the best defensive mind in the game up against us.

They can be better and they can beat us but all the bullshite you spew about 38 yards passing 4 picks and two returned for TDs and losing 38-0 is just retarded and won't happen. If you think that it will then you are straight up just hoping we lose.

I question McShay then.

Your DTs matchup well with their guards. Your secondary can cover their WR's as good as last year.

Although I am skeptical, this is crazy.

No way their DEs or RBs are better as a whole

It's about matchups, not necessarily what team is better at each position

The thing is, we haven't been terrible on offense at home against top competetion.

It seems like you're expecting our worse in this game, I on the other hand expect the LSU team that beat UW and USCe to show up. That's not to say we'll be as successful as we were on those days, just that we hopefully won't make the mistakes we've made on the road this year.

No I don't hope we lose. I will be in the stadium saturday screaming my arse of for the tigers.

But we were shutout on 1/9. Now they are better and more balanced on offense, we are worse and less balanced on offense. Good Lord, we could only manage 11/29 for 97 yards passing vs aTm.

Like someone said earlier, why would it be THIS week that it all comes together on offense and we do to the best team in the country what we haven't been able to do all year.

Admittedly, many of my earlier posts this week have been overly negative, but a little tongue in cheek. That said, as much as I hope for a tiger victory, I would be absolutely shocked if our offense scores more than a field goal.

Maybe with a great defensive effort and a defensive or ST score that will be enough, but I doubt it.

This is true; however, we have been less than stellar against far inferior opponents.

Because we are playing the No.1 defense in the country.

I hope this comes to fruition.

I also hope this is the case.

Our passing offense was pedestrian at best in both of those games. That won't cut it Saturday night

Teams beat Alabama by running the ball.

I just don't think our offense needs to "suddenly turn it on" to win. If we move the football with as much success as we did against USCe I think we will win the football game due to the home field advantage.

No they don't. Teams beat Bama by being balanced and Bama is great at forcing teams to be one dimensional.

We are already one dimensional and have no viable threat of a passing game. That is why I am expecting an ugly night for the Tigers.

Let me check with Momma and I'll get back to you on this.

He knows football and he has an opinion like everyone else but ....

If there is any match up I would want to win v. any opponent it would be the DT/DE vs either side of the OL. If Fluker can't block Mingo (and he's not very good pass blocking) it's going to be a long day for McCarron. The escape route would either be up the middle to Freak/Minter or right into Sam's loving arms.

That one match up victory can decide a game.

I know people around here hate it but we share a similar mindset. However, I won't be on here bashing Les, the players, and the coaches after the game. With all the injuries and everything that has gone on with this years squad I think 10-2 is a damn fine season.

McShay says we win 1 of 20 matchups, but how many does Bama WIN and how many are a PUSH. I doubt Bama WINS more than a handful of 20 matchups either.
