Nick Jacobs is a beast. He put Justin Macklin on his back.

Welter standing up to Ford was the biggest surprise for me. Very impressive.

Yea Jacobs had the body of someone who's been in a college weight program for a while. I liked Maclin's initial explosion but he just didn't have the lower body drive; that'll change in time.

what are people on here talking about from armand williams on that video? all he did was the big cat drill......he has looked impressive in practices before, but the way people were talking about it i was expecting to see some evidence of him outperforming boone. this video is almost worthless in determining anything about our offense. mathieu did look good in the one drill they showed and really randle ran a nice route....good timing from qb, but it was zoomed in so much you could not tell.

I would expect Jacobs to do just what he did to Maclin. He out weighs him by 35, maybe even 40lbs. It was the biggest mismatch.

Murph looks like he has overcome the mental hurdle with his knee. There was no hesitation or any limp. Guy looks ready to roll.

The Big Cat drill is slanted towards O-line. The D-line is not taught to lock up with a blocker. They're supposed to make the initial hit and then shed him. Most of our D-linemen were off the ball quicker and could've shed the block if they were not forced to stay locked up with the O-linemen. The O-lineman should win 9 out of 10 times if the D-lineman is forced to stay locked up.

which makes Blackwell look even worse, on the two I've seen him in he's been dominated.

I didn't see Blackwell get dominated. I thought Montgomery had good technique, he got under Shaw and pushed him back.
