Les recruited him as a tight end. Didn’t think he had the chops for qb. Good ole mad hatter thinkin

Zak wasn't recruited much until his senior year because he was 265lbs. Can't blame Les for thinking he was tight end material.
It wasn't until the summer before his senior year that he realized that he needed to lose weight if he wanted to be college material. And give him credit for doing so.

P.S- Les would of wasted him anyway!!
