Sure, it didn't work out so no excuses.
Did you see the final of the UNC game? From what I understand we outplayed them in every facet of the game excluding special teams, in turn came back and cost us the game. Final was 35-27. Up 21-20 with about 7 minutes left in the game.

To an extent. The trouble is that when a hurricane or remnants roll through, the mountains squeeze the rain out. Example is the 20 inches of rain that hit the NC mountains from Charley, then another 12 inches about a week later. Washed out many roads, bridges, etc.

I didn't see the final. I was hoping you guys would beat them. What happened? I had heard that you should have won.
I was coming through customs this summer and Butch Davis was next to me in line talking about UNC, playing App State, playing you guys, etc.
Believe me, every loss handed to those guys tastes great and if you had beaten them it would have been special.
