re: To all short-sighted individuals who want to get rid of Les Miles

I am I suppose what you would call a positiger, and nothing would make me happier than for us to go into that steamy hellhole this weekend and wipe the floor with Jumppass U. However, let's not forget...
December 1, 2007:
Unranked Pittsburgh:13
No. 1 West Virginia: 9
No. 8 Oklahoma: 38
No.2 Missouri: 17
With or without Saban's players, Les nearly plays us OUT of that NC with a joke loss the previous week. This is a dangerous trend that has reared its ugly head for many years now.

Since the fig's last recruiting class(Hester Early Highsmith etc) left we have gotten worse every year

you are blind..
you can gather all the positive things on ANY one individual...no one would ever get fired.
YOU are purposely IGNORING anything that could possibly be of a negative nature...
where did you learn to evaluate personnel?
BTW, people get fired when they cease to perform, whether they had previously performed or not, is irrelevant.

If yall love him so much, remember this...
This means you accept being #2 behind Bama every year.
We might get lucky once or twice, but Bama will always be viewed superior to LSU, at least as long as we have Les.

Um, not my stuff. I have Evans stuff on all my kits.

I realize things aren't being ran very well and I said several times that there's no excuse for clock management problems. I believe that Les doesn't think well under pressure...but if he had a good OC that thought quickly and called smart plays and sequences we would've never known about it, other than when he speaks in interviews, etc. A good OC will fix this, and Les will get a new OC after this year.
Defense is better, OL is better, spec teams, running, therefore, with a new OC, a team on the rise.
You've made my point in my OP about Les not being Saban. The best coach in football happens to be in our division. He's not available, so then, if not Les, who?
I'm trying to look at the whole picture, and not just the offense or the clock problems.

I didn't even read this.
Miles must go.

because I play a good bit around town and on the SEC circuit, and I like the anonymity.

Maybe. But you can't undo the public damage that Mr. Miles has done. Watch all sports news outlets this week.
I'm taking in the entire picture as well, and in the long run, it's going to cost us. Like most of the talking heads have said....we have talented players. We don't have a talented coach. It's just that simple.

If TD had a "Like" function, I would "Like" this.
Good post.

You're one of the few.

reading it doesn't change the embarrassment that Les Miles is bringing upon himself.

I almost hate that he ever backed into that champioship game. Even that year his game day coaching sucked. Sorry to tell you but he just doesn't have it.
True we have recruited well under his tenure, but if that's what impresses you so much well make him f'n recruiting coordinator and let someone else do the f'n coaching....wait, someone already does that shite and look at the results.
