Anyway, weed isn't rehabbed, as there aren't any withdrawals. The underlying mental/emotional issues that create dependence on inherently unaddictive substances/activities can be fixed, but that's for therapy or study and not rehab. Weed has the addictive properties of food, sex, puzzles, internet message boards, mmorpg's, etc.
You have no idea what you are talking about. 95% of rehab is counseling, therapy, learning life skills, building a new support system, and learning triggers that make you use so you can properly avoid them to kick your addiction. Just because something doesnt addict you physically doesnt mean it isnt acceptable to go to treatment for it. A good percentage of people I see in treatment are there for marijuana. It has caused turmoil in their life (like TM7) and they cant stop on their own.

The speculation will not stop, but that is out society now. It is up to you and I to just ignore it. The Kleinpeter's, the Guilbleaux's, the blogs, "sources", the tweets, shares, etc. etc.
People do not want to report news anymore, they want to make the news. If you wait to report the news, you're too late. This has created a need and desire among the young generation for a craving of news, any news, accurate, inaccurate, suspect, opinion, just give me news damnit. And after you give me news, I'm probably going to speculate well beyond it. It's the same old adage of kids knowing everything, but in a different light.
I definitely think message boards and social media has a place in today's society, but it is up to you to just ignore alot of it, or take it with a grain of salt. If you treat everything you read online like you heard it from a drunk guy at the bar or at the barber shop, you'll be much better off.
Thanks for your honest opinions throughout the revolving issue, and I look forward to updates on his status if you get any. I know someone who is connected at Zulu and everything I heard fell right in line with what you were saying the entire time.
I am also glad LSU, Miles, McNeese and especially the Mathieu fmaily can start to put this behind them. The road is long, but I hope TM understands what defines his life and legacy will be from happens starting today, not everything that got him to today. Great things are found in courage and doing what others won't.
"I do today what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't."
My only question is, (the only real question) how will the Mathieu's pay for this type of rehab? Do they have that kind of money?

I tell you what doc, I want you to show me where I said I had any inside information about where TM will go, or what he will do....show me that please? The other guys you are talking about indicated that he was going to a certain school. You can't show where I said anything of the sort. AS I've said....I don't know what knowledge you have, but I do know what I have from an LSU perspective, and nothing has changed.....so all this "showboating" let's us all know about your mentality and intelligence. I've had intelligent debates and information sharing with a few key people on here, that recognize I might just have a clue what I'm talking about. Nothing has changed.

Don't worry who's paying for his treatment...

and now that he's not transferring, and taking the necessary route to get back on LSU's football team, you're still carrying on with your act
this is obviously way over your head...and I'm not trying to flame here. Absolutely nothing has changed from an LSU perspective...nothing at all. I was NEVER on the side that had TM inside information....Carrying on an act? I've simply laid out LSU's position. You are free to believe what you want. There are some intelligent posters on here above the age of 20 that actually do understand that stance. Show me again where my information has been wrong, and I'll shut up. You cannot do that. Speaking of getting old, debating with 20-25 year old kids that can't think their way past tomorrow is getting old as well. Of course, I guess that is why there are premium sites to get away from that.

Vc, I got what you were saying after seperating the bull shite from the core of your argument and I think you were mostly right on lsu' side being careful etc

If you keep making responses like this you just open yourself to more questions and these threads escalate. You have said that you help people with their addictions, but I've never see a confidant as open as you are to talk about some bodies problems for some message board credibility. If youre so close to the situation you should be embarrassed. Have a good day.
