yea...you're right. LSU...one of the most storied programs in college football history and winner of 2 NCs in the last 8 years is a homeless man in comparison to one team they've basically been on par with as of late and another that they've beaten 7 of the last 10 years. Gotcha...moron/.

By every reasonable set of criteria, LSU is ranked anywhere from about 9th to about 14th or so in all-time program success.

The analogy was about 2009, not the last 8 years or the last 10 years. But "of late" was an interesting choice of words. How do we compare to them over the last two years?

I can deal with this. But the last two years we are famous for having a blundering coach. I DON'T LIKE THIS at $4 MIL a year.

Are you and Rocket like TWINS or something???? I don't hate Miles. I just think what he has done the last two years is shite for the Money he is making. Do I think Saban is a better coach yes. The last two years proves he is. I don't care that he lost to ULM while at Bama, or that he lost to UAB while at LSU. ITS A what have you done for me latley kinda deal. and as of RIGHT NOW as far as coaching a college football team. SABAN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Miles. I wish it were different, but its true. One day you will see through the light.

its nice to hear that LSU's biggest fan is 1) aware of LSU's place all time as a football program and 2)is able to "deal with" LSU being a top ten all time program.

i mean that's just fantastic.

Actually, since you're talking bout Miles, it should be over the last five (since 2005)

Florida 57-10 2 nat titles 2 sec
LSU 51-15; 1 nat title, 1 SEC
Alabama 49-17 1 sec title 1 nat title

(Of course Bama was handicapped with shula for 2 of those years)

Believe me, Parnell, we are very aware of how you feel toward Saban. We are just pointing out that you are not now, nor have you ever been, a fan of Miles and it has nothing to do with results.

For everyone claiming UF went 9-4 in 2007, I love how you ignore pre-bowl records.

UF 2007 = 9-3 (5-3 in the SEC)
LSU 2008 = 7-5 (3-5 in the SEC)

There is a big difference there. Perspective is sometimes needed for many to realize how the numbers are ignored.

Affects the team, but doesn't tell the whole story of the team.

3rd in the powerful SEC and 17 in all of college football tells more of the whole story than an offensive ranking u can't get over. If u and other whiz kids can't see that, shame on u.

What does that have to do with this year? In 2002 we were 8-5. In 2003 13-1 and NC. Last year means absolutely nothing. If you believe any differently, you're dead wrong.
