Tipped Pass Interception

Had that pass not been tipped Jackson Harris might have scored or went for at least 40 yards.

He was wide open, that was definitely a TD. One hell of a play by the DE.

Sam held the ball too long allowing the DE to get too close to him. That’s been an issue with most of his balls being batted. Harris was open but the safety was breaking on the throw. One second sooner and walks in from 40yds out.

If Sam had stepped up in the pocket it would have been six. Sam did really well, but stepping up in the pocket is not something we see from him.

Stepping into the pocket had nothing to do with that play. It was barely tipped a good play by the AM lineman. But you are right he needs to do a little better job if stepping into the pocket like Burrow used to do. Once again I trust Kiffin and Wiess to coach Leavitt.
