This administration doesn’t care about winning. So long as they put a decent product on the field/court and get their money, its done. Alleva’s statements are clear. We don’t care about you the fan. And if you think for one second getting rid of Alleva without massive overhaul and trying to convince a guy like Scott Woodard to come here is feasible, you are dreaming. He’s proven you can care about the athlete and the fan

As long as JBE is governor and this BOS and F. King stay in place it won't matter who the AD is.

I agree, Wes225. This is a much deeper issue than the LSU athletic department.

While Alleva's not 100% to blame for this situation, he has not improved the Athletic Department at all

I agree, thats why I said getting rid of Alleva without massive overhaul is useless. Nobody in their right mind will come here and deal with the corrupt shite. And honestly I can’t blame Wade. These frickers are trying to ruin his career. Frick the administration, he needs to cover his own arse

This is the same Louisiana Politics that always ruined LSU athletically and academically. This was especially notable during the Joe Dean years. Saban and Mark Emmert were able to change that culture and LSU enjoyed some good years in both athletics and academics. Unfortunately we have descended into the Edwards years again with JBE being elected and it's obvious he is in over his head and had made some political lackey appointments to the LSU system. F King has managed to do a lot of harm to this university. I don't know if Wade is guilty or not based on what has been presented to date but it's undeniable that LSU has completely botched the handling of this whole situation. People must demand change and that has to start with a new component governor instead of a trial lawyer from suspicious backgrounds like Edwards.

you can't blame a coach for offering to pay players?

Man, you've got a warped perspective.

Let's assume JBE does not win the re-election. Can the new governor appoint his/her own BOS members? If some BOS members from the previous regime have been contracted to a certain time frame that goes into the new governor's tenure, can they be bought out and replaced by new members?
