How can so many people be so clueless about this sport?

It's frustrating to see so much stupid on display in this thread.

The time out was a good call. The odds were that Towson was just going to run the clock out. But if they tried a pass and it was incomplete, then LSU has a chance to block a punt or do something on a potential return.

Some of you need to realize that your hatred of this coach is limiting your ability to understand basic strategy.

He plans the plan and when he doesn't get the results he had hoped for, he gets scrutinized for a bad plan (Isn't this true with anything that any of us do?!). Miles has his own coaching philosophy and sometimes it backfires. It's not like he's constantly trying to prove him as being an idiot to make the negatigers happy!
Results and scoreboard (even though sometimes it's ugly!). You can't win 'em all.
