The calls sucked..... and more then just the INT.

Alabama is plain and simple a better football team this year. They def got some breaks, BIG ONES!, but if you take off the p-n-g glasses you know its the truth.

Are they leaps and bounds better then us? no way, but overall they are better.

Is Saban a better coach then Miles? YES ,but thats not a knock on Miles, Saban is a better coach then Stoops,Paterno,Carrol,Brown, etc etc etc... hell he's prob better then Urban but Meyer tops him hardware, but lets see what Meyer does when Jesus is gone next year.....

In a loss with your starting QB out most of game, and your 4 year not just good RB , but obvious team leader knocked out for year, on the road, with a suspect o-line/d-line you gave a good team all they wanted.

Was it a moral victory? HELL NO! dont believe in them, but i think we showed in this loss that the "state" of the program is just fine....

As long as we dont tank rest of season, we'll start next year in a nice spot to make another run at a title.

All you clowns who think its national championship or bust are just that clowns! USC might be crowned National champs each year...... but its been what .... uh 5 years come january since they actually won one!!!!! Oklahomo? Texas? who??? who wins it year end and year out? only Florida and they too had a non-contention year between titles......

if an avg of 10-2 isnt good enuff they go support John Curtis or the div 3 school that won 1 milliom in a row....

10-2 avg means you gonna have a better 11-1,12-0, and a worse 8-4,9-3 as well.....all GREAT programs have them.....

For the clowns who say i wont be happen with a Miles coached team who will always lose 2 games a year...... Meyer has never been unbeaten, Saban hasnt.... and if your're conting 12-0 last year and leaving out seccg loss. then Miles went 10-1 in 2006 if seccg dosnt matter......

I'm no Miles lover, I think we can do better, I think a better coach might have us slightly better.... but he is OUR coach and will get 100% support with the occasional question as long as he has LSU in the top 10 as a program every year....

Programs are not seasons.... Oklahomo is still a top tier program yet they arent very good this year... we are still a top 5 program no doubt!

Good post. People forget what Meyer's team did year before last.

I dont totally agree with this. LSU has improved and bama was in decline going into their bye week. I am ready to move on (circling the bama date on the calender for next year.

GFY. With the number of calls and more importantly the number of no calls, saying definitively that Bama was better puts Corky as your college tutor. You should be stripped of your stripes, if you ever really had them.

Yeah, I'm with the "moving on" part, but the arbitrary "better team" isn't necessary, especially considering the still-raw emotions of "THE CALL."

Even if we had won it dosnt always mean better team won.....

You are really high om life if you think what we have done up to this point in the season compared to what Bama has makes us better???

Ole miss beat fla last year.... who won the national championship?

its not a gap its close, but overall Bama is a better team.....

and had the BS calls not been made, i think we woulda won.... not just INT but all of the BS calls.... but still dosnt mean we are better!

Ingram is better then our RB's sorry LOVE SCOTT but ingram is better.

JJ is at best equal to bamma qb

thier oline is better then ours, not by leaps and bounds but better

our wr's are about equal to thiers

thier dline is slightly better then ours

lb's we might have slight lead overall
and DB's we have slight advantage

kicking is about a wash

How can you say that the better team won when we never had a chance to show who was better because the refs "dictated" the game whether they intended to or not? We will continue to complain as long as we want because we can... just like the SEC offices can blatantly do what they want to do without consequences and repurcussions? You move on... how about that? I will continue to speak and side with the people who best represent my views on how the SEC officials are horrible. Not bad, not kinda bad but horrible.

i'm never happy with a pre determined 10-2 season.... but if you play it out and 2 losses happen to come to 2 top 3 teams then I CAN LIVE with that.....

people are always screaming I'll die if we go to the Indy bowl or the peach bowl or whatever lower tier bowl.... but its not where you go its how you got there!
if you start out 6-1 and finish 7-5 and go to peach bowl then

but if you struggle eary 3-3 and regroup late 8-4 then its not bad.....

just like gong 10-0 but losing last 2 and ending up in cap one bowl.... its not a great as being 2-2 finishing 10-2 and going to same bowl.....

We arent the first team nor the last to get hosed by BAD calls......

and we've also benefitted by said bad calls.

pittsburgh knocked off a title game bound WVU DESPITE several HORRIBLE calls on key plays!

I'm not happy about it! but Bama IS a lil better then us! plain and simple.....

they didnt prove it in the game but overall on the season they have!

That's why we play the game isn't it? To determine which is the best team? which was the better team...the 2007 New England Patriots, or the New York Giants? Did it matter after the Ginats won the Super Bowl?

Point is, poor officiating seems to have had a hand in at the very least the final 5+ minutes of the game on Saturday. LSU was very much still in the game at that point. Down 3 with 69 yards to go to score...not exactly something LSU has not done in recent years.

Whther LSU was outcoached is irrelevent...

Whether LSU's own penalties caused LSU to be down at that point is irrelevent...

Whether injuries caused LSU to be down at that point is irrelevent...

What most LSU fans (and honestly, most honest college football fans) are upset about is that LSU was denied the opportuntiy to fairly compete in the final 5 minutes of a game whose outcome was still very much in doubt. By taking that earned opportunity away from LSU, the officials tarnished the game.

so whoever "wins" is always the better team?

so floridia 2003 should be bcs chanps?

olemiss 2008?

i'm not saying we didnt get hosed.......in the game...

i believe they are a lot better than us now considering all of our injuries. but during the game, i saw nothing that made me think they were a clearly better team.
